Anthony Cassata – President
Anthony (Tony) Cassata is President of PFDA Architects, Inc. He joined the firm as an architecural draftsman shortly after he graduated from the University of Illinois in 1974 and has since been instrumental in the developmental growth and success of PFDA Architects. Mr. Cassata became president of the firm in 1987. With PFDA, he has been the principal architect for more than $2 billion of commercial projects throughout the U.S. His over 40 years of architectural experience has involved a large variety of project types including civic, educational, health, housing, retail, hospitality, industrial and corporate.
Mr. Cassata is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and is licensed and admitted to practice in a number of states. Additionally, he is a member of the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA), the International Conference of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Mr. Cassata’s architectural education started at Lane Technical High School in Chicago where he enrolled in the schools' special 4 year architectural program and graduated in 1969. His architectural education continued at the Univeristy of Illinois in Chicago and in 1974, he earned a Bachelor of Architecture with honors and distinction in design. Mr. Cassata is licensed to practice architecture in the following states:
